I had previously made a very large purchase and had floors installed and two of my rooms good prices friendly service and I am happy with the overall atmosphere and follow up and congeniality
They had a new product from Shaw called Coretec. It has a defective locking system (and still does). They installed it in four rooms in my house. It had a problem in three of the four rooms. The floor supplier sent an independent inspector out and determined the product was installed wrong and replaced it all with a "improved " version of the same product which I now know was the same product. It failed in different places in the same rooms. A different inspector came out and said it was a installer problem and refused to pay for it because they already paid once. (Two different installers) You can find all kinds of complaints on this product on line about it popping apart and other issues. Yet the manufacturer says they have no problems and is still selling it. In all of this the Floor Project still made it right with us and replaced the product with Pergo Extreme which we love! I have waited this long to post this to prove that there was nothing wrong with our subfloor. We have had no issues at all. The Pergo Extreme is a fantastic product. I broke a bottle of green food coloring that shattered on the counter and got on the floor and I was able to wipe it up right away without a stain. Scared me to death. I highly recommend the Floor Project. They made this right with us and stood behind what they sold.
I was pleased from the moment I first walked into the store not even knowing what I wanted. When I explained what I had in mind, David Boswell suggested a couple of products and explained the pros and cons of each. It was a comfortable shopping experience and I did not feel like he was pushing me to buy a product. When I gave him the dimensions of the rooms I needed he gave me a very close estimate of the installed cost. The product arrived two weeks after I ordered it as promised and the installer called me immediately to set up an installation date. The installer, T.J. Murray, has an amazing crew. Four of the very nicest young men removed the old carpeting and replaced it with the new product in one day. When they removed the carpeting in one room, they ran into problems with the original flooring, which required quite a bit of extra work; but they took it in stride and put in the extra time and work. These young men worked so well together and did quality work. It was easy to see that they had all learned their jobs well, that they respected each other, their boss and me was clear from the moment I met them. I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience with workers in my home.AND - i am thrilled with my new floors. ThanksYou all, my Floor Project team!
Very disappointed in the sales representative we had. We had several unanswered and not returned phone calls. He told us the carpet would be installed in 3-4 weeks. We didn't hear anything for two weeks and had to call him. Then the estimator showed up without the sales rep or anyone else notifying us. Good thing we were home. The wrong carpet was delivered, then he tried to talk me into buying it anyway. Then he tried talked to my husband into buying it. We didn't like it!! Promised us he would make it right. That was two months ago. I guess making it right means to ignore that promise. Do not recommend using this company. We are extremely disappointed in the customer service.
We are extremely pleased with our hardwood floors installed by TJ and his crew. We have received so many compliments on our flooring. At the store everyone was so helpful with helping us decide on design of hardwood, finances, and generally making sure we were satisfied. TJ and his crew worked long hours, kept us informed, even helped us put our decor back in place. We just can't say enough about how happy we are with our end result. Everyone was terrific and we have recommended them to friends.
Jay is our go-to every single time we need anything to do with new flooring! He gets us the best deal every time and never treats us like just a sale. Our installer, Steve was fantastic. Quick, efficient and polite, he got the job done in two days and was a pleasure to work with. Always recommend the floor project!!
Ricky was AWESOME in showing us flooring, and helping us pick the right fit for our home remodel. They had tons of Luxury Vinyl Tile to choose from at amazing prices. Jay was amazingly helpful. From picking out the best floor for our needs to financing and insulation they are the best in Wichita. We still have many other floors that need replaced in our renovation and will be using Jay with The Floor Project for them.
A friend recommended The Floor Project for my new carpet. I called one afternoon to figure out the first step and was immediately scheduled for a measure. As soon as we got measured Jay called to work out a time for us to come in and make selections. He was very thorough and explained the different types of carpet, why 1 was better than another and some of the warranties behind the lines. He answered all of our questions and gave us all the information we were seeking to make this important decision. We already knew by the end of our meeting which carpet we were going with but wanted to make certain of the color in our space. Jay went to the warehouse and cut a piece of one of the samples for us because his showroom sample was gone. We got a quote immediately and I called back that evening to place my order. Installation was quick and seamless! Nick showed up, removed the old carpet and installed the new carpet before I even got home from work that day! After installation Jay called to let me know they would be by about a week later to install our stair runner and I happened to ask about particular vacuums that void the warranty. He could not confirm at the time which one it was but said he would call me back in a moment. He called his rep who confirmed and he in face did call me back ASAP. The timely manner in which this project has been completed and the amount of knowledge and fantastic customer service we received is amazing! We will be going back when we replace our LVP.
This was a BIG purchase for us. 2100+ Sq. feet of high quality vinyl flooring. We knew what we wanted, and shopped around. We are incredibly grateful to have landed at the Floor Project. From the moment we walked in I felt we had made the right choice. A well organized showroom that wasn't so full that you couldn't focus. It made looking around easy. Ricky, was incredibly helpful. He listened, gave us options, and WOW does he know his products. When all was said and done, he's detail about the Portuguese cork is what sold us.The Michael was ready with the next step of the process: The order, the paperwork, the payment options, the communication with the sub-contractor (Ben was his name and did a great job). Michael made calls, offered options and seemed to answer questions before we even picked up the phone to ask.At the end of it, the project came out amazing, The flooring I.Q. is high at the Floor Project and I have already shared their info with a couple of friends and will continue to do so. Great experience.
Super friendly and very attentive employees. When we had a question it was very easy to find a friendly person to answer it. I think I might have found my shower tile and bathroom flooring!
